Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon stompy list centered around Ureni of the Unwritten. The strategy prioritizes early mana acceleration and cost reduction to cast Ureni on Turn 4. When Ureni enters or attacks, it digs eight cards deep to cheat massive Dragons directly onto the battlefield. Payoffs like Terror of the Peaks, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and Atarka, World Render quickly convert this board presence into lethal airborne combat and direct damage triggers. Haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy allow Ureni to attack immediately, triggering additional cheat effects in the same turn. The deck protects its board with premier free countermagic and broad defensive instants like Heroic Intervention, while running minimal proactive disruption outside of creature-sweeping Dragons. It cleanly overpowers the table by Turn 6 through overwhelming combat steps.
