Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on Thranduil, the Elvenking, turning the commander into an all-in-one combo outlet by inheriting the activated abilities of every Elf card in the graveyard. The deck rapidly fills the graveyard using Dredge creatures like Golgari Grave-Troll and targeted tutors such as Buried Alive. Its primary win condition combines Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Wirewood Channeler in the graveyard: Thranduil taps to place +1/+1 counters on himself, untaps by placing a -1/-1 counter (which cancel out), and taps to produce infinite mana of any color. From there, abilities from Zameck Guildmage draw the entire library, leading to infinite extra turns via Nexus of Fate or an overwhelming combat finish. Backed by solid countermagic and secondary Elf swarm synergies, the deck executes a resilient graveyard-centric combo strategy.
