Valgavoth, Harrower of souls by Andy9008

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls runs a Rakdos pain-engine that turns every opponent's loss of life into card draw and +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is to drop Valgavoth on turn three, attach early Kederekt Parasite or Spiteful Visions, and swing a growing flier for 21 commander damage while grinding through the table. Secondary lines use Demon/Horror payoffs - Archon of Cruelty, Kaervek, Doomsday Excruciator - and reanimation from Living Death/Goryo's Vengeance. Valgavoth, Terror Eater in the 99 acts as a powerful backup finisher, not a hidden commander. The deck is fast, redundant, and interactive, though it lacks counterspells and is soft to commander removal.
