Thalia and gitrog by Chuy

Format: Commander

Commander: Thalia and The Gitrog Monster

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Abzan lands deck grinds value from extra land drops and landfall to build an overwhelming token board, then wins with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. Thalia and The Gitrog Monster is the stax-draw engine: it grants an extra land, taps opponents' creatures and nonbasics, and draws on attack. The hidden engines are The Gitrog Monster, The Necrobloom, and Field of the Dead, which turn every land drop, mill, and recursion loop into cards and bodies. Secondary paths include Avenger of Zendikar plants, Scute Swarm copies, and Ob Nixilis drain, with Aftermath Analyst + Lotus Cobra + Tireless Provisioner loops as a slow combo backup.
