Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius go-wide aggro-midrange strategy centered on Denzilore Fatehold, converting frequent scry and surveil triggers into team-wide +1/+1 counters. The early game establishes cheap evasive creatures and recurring scry/surveil engines such as Faerie Seer, Nightveil Sprite, Elrond, Lord of Rivendell, and Proctor of Potential. Flashing in Denzilore on turn 3 or 4 immediately turns every subsequent attack, entry trigger, and cheap cantrip into an anthem effect, scaling small flying threats into formidable beaters. Midgame turns leverage continuous card draw from Matoya, Archon Elder and Dusk Legion Duelist, while Kid Loki and Sheltering Light protect the developing army. Combat dominance is achieved through evasion enhancers like Abzan Falconer and tap effects from Elvish Mariner, supplemented by asymmetric board wipes such as Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict that spare modified creatures. The deck reliably closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming evasive combat damage across all opponents.
