New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros Dwarf Equipment deck that wins through combat. The deck aims to achieve enduring story quickly by assembling three artifacts, legendaries, or Sagas, then uses the payoff to protect its board and press with equipped Dwarves. Primary plan is to flood the board with Dwarves and Equipment, anthem them with Fili and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, and close with double strike from Dain Ironfoot, Bruenor, or Akroma's Will. Secondary paths use Treasure from Magda and Dori to ramp and grind value through draw engines like Sram and Puresteel Paladin. Thorin himself is only protection; the true engines are Bifur and Bruenor, which act as hidden commanders.
