Dragonstorm + Astral Slide

Format: Commander

Commander: Shiko, Paragon of the Way

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shiko, Paragon of the Way leads a cycling-and-blink control deck that turns discarded cards into card advantage and repeated ETB triggers. The deck aims to land Astral Drift, Astral Slide, or Escape Protocol, keep a creature like Shiko or Archaeomancer flickering, then use that value to ramp into Dragonstorm with Dragon Tempest or Scourge of Valkas as a one-shot finisher. It is resilient and interactive, packing counterspells and exile removal, but it has no cheap combo; its clock is set by slow mana and setup. The commander is a value-copy engine, not the actual kill condition.
