Bugs Of The Dead by gurdi1998

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck is helmed by Blech, Loafing Pest, a commander that turns life-gain triggers into +1/+1 counters on a narrow tribe of creatures: Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider. The deck's primary game plan is to generate consistent life-gain events-through token creation, death triggers, and combat-to rapidly grow its tribal board. It also packs a compact infinite combo: Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + a Zombie creature + a drain outlet like Zulaport Cutthroat, which instantly drains the table. Secondary wins include a massive Exsanguinate fueled by infinite mana from Pitiless Plunderer or an overrun-style finish with Triumph of the Hordes. The deck blends sacrifice synergies, +1/+1 counters, and recursion to grind out advantages, while the commander adds inevitability to the combat plan.
