Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Zombie creatures and utility engines early, casting Gisa on Turn 4 or 5, and leveraging her activated ability to convert high-power creatures into wide armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once an expansive horde is assembled, the deck closes the game through overwhelming combat damage boosted by tribal lords like Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Lord of the Accursed, or through life-draining triggers from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead. Recursive pieces like Gravecrawler and Lord of the Undead ensure a steady supply of sacrifice fuel. While the deck possesses resilient graveyard recursion and potent creature-based attrition, its reliance on combat steps, lack of stack interaction, and absence of protective equipment make it vulnerable to timely sweepers.
