Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment leads this Izzet spellslinger deck by converting expensive instants and sorceries into massive flying Elemental creature tokens with haste. The primary game plan accelerates mana through cost reducers and rituals to cast high-mana-value spells like Magma Opus, Dig Through Time, and Furygale Flocking before combat. These large spells generate enormous flying threats every turn to pressure life totals. The deck closes games by multiplying combat steps with Full Throttle, buffing the entire board with Surge to Victory, burning the table with Thor, God of Thunder, or chaining spells with Thousand-Year Storm and Underworld Breach.
