Deck overview

This deck leverages Lorehold, the Historian to break the timing and mana restrictions of high-cost sorceries and instants. By granting every instant and sorcery in hand Miracle {2} and providing a discard-and-draw trigger on every opponent's upkeep, Lorehold turns opponent turns into explosive casting windows. Topdeck sculptors such as Library of Leng, Scroll Rack, and Sensei's Divining Top allow you to place massive bombs like Rise of the Eldrazi, Storm Herd, and Approach of the Second Sun on top of your library to cast them for just two mana. Supported by premium Boros spot removal, efficient protection spells, and Treasure-generating engines, the deck controls the board during early turns before overwhelming the table in a flurry of high-mana spells cast at instant speed.
