Commander: Paladin Elizabeth Taggerdy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Paladin Elizabeth Taggerdy is a Boros go-wide value deck. The primary plan is to develop a token board, attack with three or more creatures, and use Paladin's battalion trigger to draw while cheating small-to-medium creatures into play tapped and attacking. Secondary paths are extra-combat kills with Aurelia, the Warleader and Grim Reaper's Sprint, plus a Voltron line where equipment such as Stormbeacon Blade raises Paladin's power to deploy bigger threats. Aurelia, the Law Above and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar give the deck draw and reach. It is not a combo deck; it wins by overwhelming combat. The hidden commander is effectively Aurelia, the Warleader, since the deck's best turns involve cheating it into play and exploiting its extra combat.
