Deck overview

This is a Rakdos midrange combat deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm, blending Goblin Amass swarms, Treasure value, Equipment, and Dragon beaters into a Lord of the Rings-flavored battlecruiser plan. Smaug, Wicked Worm enters by minting Treasures equal to opponents' artifacts, then turns every subsequent Treasure-funded spell into a cantrip (at 1 life). The 99 supports this with Amass payoffs (Misty Mountains Raider, Tidings of War, Fearsome Goblin Pair), Equipment packages (Mithril Coat, Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver, Glamdring), and Dragon finishers (Smaug the Magnificent, Desert Were-Worm, Smaug, the Great Calamity // Spew Flame). There are no infinite combos; wins come from grinding out combat damage, incidental drains (The Sackville-Bagginses, The Great Goblin), and the occasional extra-combat swing from Desert Were-Worm. The high land count and modest ramp keep the deck firmly in fair, multiplayer midrange territory.
