Deck overview

This Jund midrange control deck is helmed by The Reaper, King No More, turning -1/-1 counters into asymmetric card advantage, creature theft, and board suppression. The deck accelerates through a dense package of 1-2 mana ramp to deploy core engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician by Turn 4. On Turn 5, it triggers massive chains of counter placement, clearing opposing boards, drawing dozens of cards, and reanimating dying opposing threats under its control. Disruptive powerhouses like Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night lock opponents out of creature combat, while All Will Be One and token swarms close the game by Turn 7. With robust creature tutors and instant-speed interaction, the deck grinds out opponents with unrelenting resource disparity.
