Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats deck helmed by Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar with the Noble Heritage Background blends +1/+1 counter synergies with sacrifice-based card advantage and drain effects. The primary game plan involves deploying creatures with counters, sacrificing them to Shadowheart for massive card draw, and leveraging death triggers from Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and The Meathook Massacre to drain opponents. The deck packs multiple combo finishes, most notably Walking Ballista + Heliod, Sun-Crowned for infinite damage, and can assemble a soft lock via Solemnity + Nine Lives or Pariah on an indestructible creature. A dense tutor suite (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Enlightened Tutor) ensures consistent access to key pieces, while Necropotence and Black Market Connections provide deep card flow. The commander is a powerful draw engine but not essential for the combos, giving the deck flexibility.
