The Wizard Waltz by user2963412

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a blisteringly fast Rakdos spellslinger/storm deck helmed by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The core plan is to chain cheap rituals and cantrips, triggering a redundant suite of "whenever you cast a noncreature spell" pingers - Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather, Coruscation Mage, Black Waltz No. 3, and the Wizard tokens Kuja himself generates - before transforming into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied to double all Wizard damage. The deck finishes through Grapeshot storm, Underworld Breach loops, or the Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir engine. It is a combo-first deck that can win without ever casting its commander, using rituals like Seething Song and Dark Ritual to explode onto the board by turn 4-5.
