Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around Radagast of Rhosgobel, leveraging a dense suite of two-mana artifact ramp creatures to cast the commander reliably on turn 3. Radagast transforms expensive, high-impact Hydras into flash threats with a continuous two-mana cost reduction on the first creature cast each turn. This allows the deck to deploy massive beaters like Kalonian Hydra, Gargos, Vicious Watcher, and Elder Gargaroth on opponents' end steps, effectively granting pseudo-haste while dodging sorcery-speed removal. Without dedicated creature tutors, the deck leans on high functional redundancy among its threats and enters a decisive combat onset on turn 5. Trample enablers such as Garruk's Uprising push lethal damage through blockers over two response cycles to close the game by turn 7. While lacking stack interaction and stax pieces, the deck maintains resilience through instant-speed protective spells like Heroic Intervention and independent backup stompy lines if Radagast is removed.
