Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mono-Black combo list piloted by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. Its primary objective is to accelerate K'rrik onto the battlefield on Turn 3 using low-cost mana rocks and rituals, converting life directly into black mana. Once K'rrik is active, the deck utilizes graveyard tutors such as Buried Alive or Hoarding Broodlord to set up game-ending lines. The central win condition reanimates Necrotic Ooze with Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar in the graveyard, allowing the pilot to draw their entire library and generate surplus black mana. From there, infinite reanimation loops with Chainer, Dementia Master and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or high-storm finishes with Tendrils of Agony, eliminate all opponents simultaneously. The deck boasts extreme burst potential and high functional redundancy across tutors and reanimation spells, balanced by inherent vulnerability to graveyard hate, instant-speed creature removal, and steep self-inflicted life loss.
