Deck overview

This deck is a Simic cheat-and-blink engine led by Vannifar, Evolved Enigma. The core strategy revolves around using Vannifar's combat ability to cloak expensive permanent cards from hand as face-down 2/2 creatures with ward {2}. Once cloaked, cheap instant-speed flicker spells such as Essence Flux, Planar Incision, and Ghostly Flicker exile and return those face-down permanents face up. This allows the deck to cheat devastating 7-mana and 8-mana bombs—including Hullbreaker Horror, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Titan of Industry, Astral Dragon, and One with the Multiverse—onto the battlefield as early as turn 4. Once assembled, the deck leverages repeated enter-the-battlefield triggers, token swarms, and evasion enablers like Archetype of Imagination and Giant Ankheg to dominate the board and eliminate the entire table through overwhelming combat damage by turn 7.
