Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal strategy helmed by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The game plan revolves around deploying efficient early Zombies, establishing tribal lords like Undead Warchief and Death Baron, and leveraging Gisa to exponentially multiply board power into an overwhelming token swarm. Card draw engines such as Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Graveborn Muse keep the hand stocked by capitalizing on token production and sacrifice triggers. While the deck lacks fast mana, countermagic, and infinite combos, it delivers high functional redundancy and resilient board presence through recursion tools like Lord of the Undead and Oversold Cemetery. Opponents face persistent combat pressure reinforced by direct life drain from Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
