Deck overview

The strongest supported route is the Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista infinite-damage combo. Enlightened Tutor, Demonic Tutor, and Vampiric Tutor provide overlapping access, while Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, Mana Vault, Mox Diamond, Dark Ritual, and Sol Ring can accelerate the setup. In ordinary play, the deck assembles and uses the combo around turn six, then wins immediately if the first activation resolves. The backup plan is an equipment-focused Squall, SeeD Mercenary deck. Squall, SeeD Mercenary grants double strike when attacking alone and can return low-mana-value permanents after dealing combat damage. Brotherhood Regalia, Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Trailblazer's Boots provide evasion or haste, while Buster Sword, Blackblade Reforged, and Wrecking Ball Arm increase damage. The list has meaningful protection, but limited stack interaction and a slow recovery after both combo pieces are removed.
