Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius control and clone strategy led by Grand Arbiter Augustin IV. It aims to slow down opposing development using taxes, Rule of Law effects, and artifact suppression while setting up its own board of copy effects and token generators. Grand Arbiter Augustin IV in the command zone reduces the cost of blue and white spells while taxing every opponent spell, generating early mana disparity. The mid-game leverages flexible clone spells like Clever Impersonator, Faerie Artisans, and Saheeli's Artistry to mirror opposing threats, supported by token generation from Felidar Retreat. The deck lacks infinite combos and closes games during the late game through a kicked Rite of Replication, unblockable attacks from Archetype of Imagination, or an animated artifact assault with Cyberdrive Awakener. While resilient in slow attrition matches, the deck has thin ramp and minimal instant protection.
