Deck overview

This is a Rakdos life-loss combo/storm deck built around Rowan, Scion of War. The primary game plan is to rapidly lose life through pain lands, life-paying spells, and creatures like Wall of Blood and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, then activate Rowan to reduce the cost of black and red spells by the amount of life lost that turn. This enables casting a massive Exsanguinate or Cut // Ribbons (via aftermath) to drain all opponents in a single explosive turn. The deck is packed with tutors to assemble the key pieces, rituals and treasure generators to ramp, and a suite of removal and interaction. It aims to win in one big turn rather than through incremental advantage.
