Marvo, Time traveling Sloptopus by Glidy

Format: Commander

Commander: Marvo, Deep Operative

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Marvo, Deep Operative is the sole, single-faced commander, and there is no hidden commander; the deck is built around his clash trigger to chain free seven- and eight-mana spells. The primary line is to accelerate Marvo into play, fix the top of the library, win clashes, and use extra-turn spells to attack again each turn. Every successful clash can free-cast payoffs such as Jace, Doomsday Excruciator, or another extra turn. The kill is Doomsday reducing the library to six, followed by Thassa's Oracle with enough blue devotion (usually Jace plus Marvo) to win. Top-deck engines and tutors make the plan consistent; counters and protection keep Marvo alive.
