Trap card by tcgsmooth

Format: Commander

Commander: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer is a Sultai morph/manifest engine. The primary plan is to deploy Kadena early, use its discount to cast a free face-down creature each turn, and turn every morph/manifest flip into card advantage while developing a wide board. Secondary paths flood the board through manifest-dread pieces like They Came from the Pipes, Zimone, and Abhorrent Oculus, then win with Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede. Kadena is the speed and draw core, though Zimone and Vannifar can serve as sub-engines. There is no double-faced commander and no true hidden commander: the list is built around Kadena's cost reduction and the face-down theme.
