Rise of the Elven King by Rogue_Highlander

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai Elf-combo deck that treats its commander as a value engine, not the centerpiece. The primary plan is a Thassa's Oracle finish: cast Oracle, leave its trigger on the stack, then empty the library with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Secondary paths are Chain of Smog paired with Witherbloom Apprentice for unlimited drain, and Elf mana-druids plus Staff of Domination for a looping draw/finish. Thranduil allows every Elf in the graveyard to add activated abilities, so filling the yard with Archdruid, Priest, Marwyn, or Devoted acts as a midgame engine. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rallly acts as a hidden Commander: the adventure mills and finds lands, while the creature side triggers Thranduil's card draw.
