Commander: Yarus, Roar of the Old Gods

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Yarus, Roar of the Old Gods leads a Gruul face-down/morph deck that uses hasted 2/2s to draw cards and Yarus's death-recursion to reuse flip triggers. The primary plan is to attack with face-down creatures, draw into enablers like Trail of Mystery, then flip huge morphs or use Ashcloud Phoenix with Goblin Bombardment for an infinite damage loop. The commander is the engine: haste, card draw, and recursion all live on it. There is no hidden commander; every face-down payoff supports Yarus. Winning without the loop requires a wide hasted board plus trample and cumulative damage from flips.
