Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Orzhov Aura Voltron and Enchantress control strategy spearheaded by Killian, Decisive Mentor. By casting cheap Auras onto Killian or backup threats like Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice and Kor Spiritdancer, the deck triggers Killian's ability to tap down blockers and goad opposing creatures while drawing cards on each attack. The mana curve is heavily optimized through cost-reducing permanents such as Hero of Iroas, Transcendent Envoy, and Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor. Lethality scales rapidly with exponential power boosters like All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, and Twinblade Blessing, allowing single-turn player eliminations starting on turn 5. Defensive enchantments such as Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Rule of Law force opponents to fight each other under heavy resource constraints. If the main threat is removed, mass reanimation spells like Mantle of the Ancients and Retether snap back all Auras from the graveyard to close out the game quickly.
