Deck overview

This Grixis deck pairs Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist and Vial Smasher the Fierce to create an aggressive group slug and wheel strategy. Ludevic incentivizes opponents to attack one another while drawing cards for you whenever damage is dealt, which Vial Smasher readily triggers on every turn you cast your first spell. The deck utilizes symmetrical draw engines like Howling Mine and Font of Mythos alongside punishers like Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Underworld Dreams, and Spiteful Visions to turn every card drawn into direct damage. High-cost delve cards such as Dig Through Time and Temporal Trespass maximize Vial Smasher's random burn while remaining cheap to cast. A compact backup combo of Curiosity on Niv-Mizzet, Parun can instantly end games. Strong board wipes and flexible countermagic keep the board stable while opponents' life totals drain rapidly.
