Deck overview

Chishiro, the Shattered Blade turns every Equipment or Aura into a Spirit and grows modified creatures at each end step. The deck uses land ramp such as Three Visits, Farseek, and Cultivate to reach its four- and six-mana creatures, then develops a board of Spirits, Samurai, Heroes, and equipped attackers. Akki Battle Squad is the main pressure card: when modified creatures attack, it untaps them and creates one additional combat each turn. Equipment such as Mage Slayer, Genji Glove, Blackblade Reforged, and Komainu Battle Armor can make those attacks dangerous. The plan is strong in a slower combat-focused game, but it is not a compact combo deck. Its major limitations are weak access to Akki Battle Squad, limited protection, many sorcery-speed equip costs, and no reliable way to finish all three opponents once the first attack is answered. The deck has useful interaction, but most of it is narrow or competes with development.
