Deck overview

This mono-white Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, a low-cost tutor engine that searches for any Equipment on entering and doubles all triggered abilities of itself and its attached Equipment. The primary game plan is to rapidly suit up Cloud with powerful Swords-Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice, Buster Sword-and leverage the doubled triggers to generate explosive card advantage, mana, and value. The deck aims to close out the game through overwhelming combat damage, using extra combats from Genji Glove and creature duplication via Helm of the Host to snowball into a three-opponent kill. A dense suite of protection effects (Grand Abolisher, Silence, Flawless Maneuver, Ranger-Captain of Eos) shields the critical combat turns, while recursion from Mantle of the Ancients and Sevinne's Reclamation provides recovery after board wipes.
