Deck overview

This mono-white deck is an aggressive Equipment Voltron strategy helmed by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. Cloud guarantees early access to critical artifacts by tutoring an Equipment card upon entering the battlefield. Once equipped, Cloud doubles all triggered abilities from himself and attached Equipment, turning combat connections into explosive value engines. Cards like Mask of Memory, Sword of the Animist, and Buster Sword generate overwhelming card advantage, basic land acceleration, and free spell casts. The deck leverages cost-cheat enablers such as Forge Anew, Puresteel Paladin, and Beatrix, Loyal General to bypass steep equip costs. Lethality is achieved through massive power boosts from Colossus Hammer, Wrecking Ball Arm, and Genji Glove, closing out opponents with 21 commander damage. While vulnerable to early mana screw due to a low land count, Cloud provides on-demand access to protection like Champion's Helm and Conqueror's Flail to shield the lethal push.
