Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu combat deck commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan accelerates Kaalia onto the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4, utilizing cheap mana rocks and haste enablers such as Lightning Greaves and Lavaspur Boots. Once Kaalia declares an attack, she cheats massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, entirely bypassing their steep mana costs. Payloads like Master of Cruelties present instant single-target lethal threats, while Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Razaketh, the Foulblooded establish commanding board dominance. The deck also contains an infinite combat combo between Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host to eliminate the entire table in one turn. Plan shielding from Grand Abolisher and Boros Charm ensures that Kaalia attacks through opposing interaction.
