Deck overview

Nethroi is a self-mill reanimation deck whose commander acts as a repeatable mass-reanimation engine that remains on the battlefield. You fill the graveyard with cheap creatures and sorceries, then cast Nethroi for its mutate cost onto a mana dork, returning a team of creatures with total power 10 or less. Additional mutate spells retrigger Nethroi, allowing multiple waves of reanimation and drain from Corpse Knight and Elas il-Kor. Auspicious Starrix can turn a stacked mutate pile into a huge board of permanents, while Living Death, Eerie Ultimatum, and Unburial Rites provide backup recursion. The deck wins through combat and incremental drain; it has no infinite combo, so speed is moderate, but it grinds out huge boards that overwhelm opponents.
