Commander: Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet artifact deck is a hybrid of Equipment voltron and go-wide artifact aggro, built entirely around getting the two-faced commander from Tony Stark to The Invincible Iron Man. The front face is a repeatable dig engine - for {1} and a tap it looks four cards deep and always finds an artifact - while the back face, flipped with a six-mana sorcery activation, is a flying, hasting 5/5 that cheats one artifact into play every combat and attaches Equipment for free. The plan is to flood the board with cheap artifacts and then close games three ways: suit Iron Man with scaling Equipment (Nettlecyst, Adaptive Omnitool, Tenza, Godo's Maul) for a one-shot 21 commander-damage hit; attach Grafted Exoskeleton and cast Chandra's Ignition to put 10+ poison on each opponent at once; or slam Cyberdrive Awakener to turn every noncreature artifact into a 4/4 flying attacker. Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Sai, Master Thopterist, and Shuri, Wakandan Inventor keep the artifact count - and therefore every payoff - growing.
