Deck overview

Slinza, the Spiked Stampede is a Beast tribal commander that rewards flooding the board with big, discounted Beasts. The deck's primary plan is to cast Slinza as early as turn 3, then use its cost reduction to deploy a wave of 4/4-to-7/7+ Beasts, while fight triggers and fight spells remove opposing blockers. Secondary paths include token generation from Rampaging Baloths and Elder Gargaroth, direct damage from Sarkhan's Unsealing and Warstorm Surge, and overrun finishes from Overwhelming Stampede and Return of the Wildspeaker. The commander is not an infinite engine; it is a value engine that accelerates the beatdown. Without Slinza, the deck still has other cost reducers and strong standalone threats, but the plan loses a lot of speed.
