Rakdos by Shdhydhegs

Format: Commander

Commander: Rakdos, Lord of Riots

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rakdos, Lord of Riots heads an aggressive heavy-damage deck that turns early life loss into massive mana discounts for colossal threats. The game plan centers on deploying cheap pingers to satisfy Rakdos's cast condition on turn three or four, followed immediately by swinging to discount high-impact creatures. You win by casting titan-sized Eldrazi and Demons such as Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Defiler, and Archfiend of Despair well ahead of curve. These threats strip opposing boards through annihilator triggers, double damage outputs, and swiftly close out the game through lethal aerial and trampling combat damage.
