Gwen - Spider Queen IV by user4936512

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai exile-impulse deck uses Gwen Stacy front to exile and play cards early, then flips to Ghost-Spider as the main engine. Ghost-Spider has haste, grows whenever you play a land or cast a spell from exile, and converts counters into fresh exiles. You chain impulse spells like Reckless Impulse, Light Up the Stage, and Wrenn's Resolve to draw, make Thopters with Pia Nalaar and Spawns with The Lost and the Damned, and grow Laelia. Wins come from combat: a large Ghost-Spider/Laelia plus tokens, multiplied by City on Fire and chipped by Passionate Archaeologist and Fiery Inscription, closed with extra combats from Aggravated Assault, Savage Beating, and Full Throttle. Laelia and Pia act as hidden commanders when Ghost-Spider is offline.
