Deck overview

This is a spell-slinger control deck built around Niv-Mizzet, Parun, who turns every instant and sorcery into a card draw and a damage trigger. The primary plan is to cast Parun, then chain cheap draw spells and cantrips while pingers and token makers (Electrostatic Field, Firebrand Archer, Talrand, Young Pyromancer) multiply each spell's impact. Secondary paths are a drake/elemental beatdown finish and fragile alternate wins in Triskaidekaphile and Laboratory Maniac. Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind is the hidden commander, acting as a second draw-ping engine; Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius provides a third commander-grade threat. The deck wins through direct damage, commander pings, and token combat rather than a compact combo.
