Deck overview

This mono-green midrange deck leverages Edgar, Moonlit Sovereign to turn the natural 'pass-the-turn' rhythm of Werewolves into an aggressive +1/+1 counter engine. By leaning heavily into flash enablers like Yeva, Nature's Herald, Vivien, Champion of the Wilds, and Vedalken Orrery, the deck passes its own turns without casting spells. This reliably triggers Edgar's end-step counter accumulation and forces the game state into Night, transforming powerful Werewolves like Avabruck Caretaker and Mayor of Avabruck. Flash spells and activated abilities are then executed on opponents' turns. Mid-game card advantage is fueled by Garruk's Uprising, Terrasymbiosis, and For the Ancestors. The deck rapidly amasses an intimidating pack of trampling Wolves, culminating in explosive combat finishes via Hollowhenge Overlord, Unnatural Growth, or Return of the Wildspeaker.
