Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Big-Mana Stompy deck commanded by Gandalf, Westward Voyager. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana early through land-based ramp and creature dorks, deploying Gandalf on Turn 4, and compounding advantage by casting high-impact spells with mana value 5 or greater. Gandalf pairs with static draw engines like Up the Beanstalk, Thunderous Snapper, and Garruk's Uprising to maintain full hand sizes while flooding the board with formidable monsters. The deck transitions into a decisive win on Turn 6, using entwined Tooth and Nail to assemble Craterhoof Behemoth alongside token generators for an immediate overrun, or casting a kicked Rite of Replication on Biovisionary to trigger a direct win on the end step. With flash enablers like Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Leyline of Anticipation, the deck can also pivot to instant-speed board development and disruption.
