Deck overview

This deck is a Spellslinger Big Mana strategy piloted by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around playing efficient 1- and 2-mana noncreature spells (cantrips, mana rocks, and interaction) to steadily place +1/+1 counters on Vivi while dealing incidental chip damage to all opponents. Vivi's {0} activated ability converts that accumulated power directly into a large burst of colored mana on your turn. This explosive mana velocity lets the deck skip traditional mana barriers and power out format-warping high-CMC haymakers like Soulfire Eruption, kicked Rite of Replication, Myojin of Seeing Winds, and Summon: Bahamut as early as Turn 5. The deck defends its engine with efficient stack interaction and phasing spells like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Slip Out the Back, closing out the game with overwhelming airborne combat and relentless burn triggers.
