Deck overview

This is a ramp-heavy Gruul Dinosaur deck built to get Etali, Primal Conqueror onto the battlefield as quickly as possible. The front half is the engine: his enter trigger exiles a nonland card from each player and lets you cast any number of those spells for free, turning one dinosaur into a one-sided value explosion. The back half, Etali, Primal Sickness, is the finisher: with ten or more poison counters lethal, a single combat hit from an 11/11 trampling, indestructible Elder Dinosaur ends a player. The deck's secondary plan is plain Gruul beatdown, using Xenagos, God of Revels, Regisaur Alpha, Rhythm of the Wild, and City on Fire to turn otherwise fair dinosaurs into overwhelming combat pressure. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through mana acceleration, free-cast value, and the commander's alternate one-shot kill.
