Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Lifegain Reanimator strategy commanded by Aerith, Last Ancient. The game plan revolves around stocking the graveyard early using efficient self-mill creatures and high-value landcyclers, then deploying Aerith on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck casts an efficient burst lifegain spell—such as Heroes' Reunion, Rest for the Weary, or Feed the Clan—to meet Aerith's 7-life threshold and cheat a massive creature directly onto the battlefield during the end step. Reanimation targets like Salvation Colossus, Thorn Mammoth, and Blazing Archon take over the board by locking out attacks, fighting opposing utility creatures, and granting powerful combat buffs. The deck converts this board dominance into lethal damage across Turns 6 and 7, using +1/+1 counter engines like Nykthos Paragon and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn to scale threats rapidly.
