New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Baral, Chief of Compliance

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger control deck built around Baral, Chief of Compliance, leveraging cost reduction and looting to fuel a dense countermagic suite. The primary game plan is to control the board with a high volume of instant-speed interaction, drawing cards through triggers from Archmage Emeritus, Archmage of Runes, and Case of the Ransacked Lab, while digging for the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite mana combo. Once assembled, infinite mana is used to draw the library with Blue Sun's Zenith and then generate an army of tokens via Talrand, Sky Summoner or Shark Typhoon for a combat win. The deck also has a backup plan of incremental damage from Haughty Djinn and generated creatures. The commander's cost reduction and looting are valuable but not essential, as multiple other cost reducers exist.
