..0 B2 The Blue Spirit Flash

Format: Commander

Commander: The Blue Spirit

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-blue deck, helmed by The Blue Spirit, is a flash-and-ETB value engine that leverages combat triggers and cloning to overwhelm opponents. The commander grants the first creature each turn flash and draws a card whenever a nontoken creature enters during combat, encouraging a tempo-oriented playstyle. The deck packs a dense suite of flash creatures that disrupt opponents (tap, debuff, mill) and generate incremental advantage. Clones like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Spark Double, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication multiply key ETBs, while Panharmonicon, Virtue of Knowledge, and Starfield Vocalist double those triggers. Mana acceleration comes from Peregrine Drake, Cloud of Faeries, and untap effects, enabling explosive turns. The primary win conditions are drawing the deck with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, reaching exactly 13 cards with Triskaidekaphile, or pinging opponents down with Psychosis Crawler while drawing. Combat damage from cloned creatures provides a secondary path.
