Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy 5-color Eldrazi token swarm strategy commanded by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The game plan revolves around rapidly generating colorless Eldrazi Scion and Spawn tokens using creatures like Writhing Chrysalis, Catacomb Sifter, and Brood Monitor. As tokens die or are sacrificed for mana, Azlask accumulates experience counters. Once 5-color mana is available through cards like Path of Annihilation, Chromatic Lantern, or land drops, Azlask activates its {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability to grant the entire team massive +X/+X stat boosts, indestructible, and annihilator 1. Supporting pieces like Skullclamp and Idol of Oblivion provide steady card replenishment, while All Is Dust clears opposing boards asymmetrically. The deck reliably reaches a critical onset on Turn 6 and finishes the table on Turn 7.
