Deck overview

This is a mono-black stax-attrition deck built around Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern. The core plan is to deploy symmetrical sacrifice and discard effects-Fleshbag Marauder, Smallpox, Braids, Cabal Minion, Necrogen Mists-then use Tergrid to steal every permanent opponents lose. The deck grinds out advantage through Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos loops, while accumulating life and mana drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and massive X-spells like Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire. It packs heavy fast mana (Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, Cabal Coffers) to accelerate into its expensive payoffs. No infinite combos are present; victory comes from overwhelming resource disparity and repeated drain.
