Commander: Loki, God of Lies

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is a spellslinger/theft hybrid built around Loki, God of Lies, the "God Sorcerer" who turns nearly every single-target instant or sorcery into a steal effect. A huge suite of cheap cantrips (Expedite, Crimson Wisps, Accelerate, Blazing Crescendo, Fists of Flame) means you can repeatedly steal an opponent's biggest creature, untap it, give it haste, swing, and then sacrifice it to Goblin Bombardment, Thud, or Kazuul's Fury before the end step. Behind the theft plan is a classic red storm/burn core: Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, and Longshot, Rebel Bowman convert every spell cast into damage, while Storm-Kiln Artist, Runaway Steam-Kin, Seething Song, and Jeska's Will turn the chain mana-positive. Rionya, Fire Dancer can turn token makers into armies, and the deck can close games with an Aria of Flame burn curve or a big Reiterate-copied spell stack.
