Meren zombies by user4975468

Format: Commander

Commander: Meren of Clan Nel Toth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Meren of Clan Nel Toth is the recursive heart of a Golgari midrange deck that wears two masks: zombie-token swarm and graveyard-value drain. The primary plan is to sacrifice expendable creatures for experience counters, then use Meren's end-step reanimation to chain value while building a board of lord-pumped Zombies. Combat finishes under Overrun or Overwhelming Stampede, while Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Wight of the Reliquary offer a secondary all-opponent life-loss kill. Tormod, the Desecrator is a strong support card in the 99, but not a hidden commander; the deck is built around Meren. The deck packs heavy recursion but almost no stack interaction.
